The commercial relations upstream and especially the speed of the answers to the questions we asked ourselves before the departure and this more particularly for the administrative hassles related to the Covid 19.
The boat: This SO 440 is in perfect condition and we appreciated the good condition of the sails with certainly a reduced surface Jib if the wind is less than 15 knots but perfect for the conditions we experienced with trade winds blowing between 20 and 35 knots under squalls. She is a very seaworthy and comfortable boat for a crew of 8.
Reception and handover: Thanks to Vincent for his availability and his explanations at the start as well as his attentive listening during the return trip, noting the comments allowing an improvement for some details such as the lack of some cleats to close the crews, the marking of the anchor chain or more particularly the absence of a trucker to consider a cruise to the Grenadines (my trucker NV.Charts was very useful and precious to us to have an overall view and the detailed maps of the main anchorages)
In short, the boat is great and we can only advise other sailors to rent it with confidence.
